what is the most sad?
a) that vancouver lost the stanly cup in game 7.
b) the dangerous, uneccessary violence and head-shots the players take on each other, and how its ruining the integrity of the sport.
c) the horrible treatment of sows (helpthepigs.com).
d) the crowd's violent, destructive riot post game.
i could make an e) all of the above, but i really am curious.

I don't think (a) is especially sad, as they lost fair and square. It's disappointing for their fans, but the stats showed that Boston had actually outscored them throughout the entire contest. The rest are sickeningly sad.
i put a really as a juxta-position for the others, because in reality the loss of the game is nothing compared to the stupidity of the riot post game. that many sore losers is the real sad thing!
There would have been a riot had the 'Nucks won or lost. People are just idiots.

I don't think it's sad at all that Vancouver lost in game 7 because it means they had to play a lot of good hockey to get to that point, and they obviously proved that they have some talent as players, they just didn't win.
i think what was terribly ignored was b - the game of hockey is getting ridiculous! how many concussions and other injuries do there have to be? terrible post whistle head shots, etc, make me appaulled and wonder where the sport is headed from here. what ever happened to good old fashioned hockey? heck they never even used to need helmets for pete's sake!
